Our Accompanist

Bruce L. Ensinger received an AB in Music Education from West Liberty State College and an MM in Music History and Literature from Ohio University with additional graduate work at Westminster Choir College, Princeton University, and the University of Zürich. Ensinger was a music specialist in West Virginia at the New Martinsville School for 38 years. Choirs under his direction performed with the Wheeling Symphony and the Pittsburgh Ballet. He researched the music of Costa Rica on a Fulbright Scholarship and participated in a program studying conducting with members of the Vienna Boys’ Choir faculty.

Bruce is the accompanist for Diversity, The Voices of Sarasota, Outreach Choirs from Key Chorale, the Sunnyside Singers, and is happy to return as accompanist for the Sarasota Jewish Chorale. He accompanies instrumental and choral ensembles at several area high schools and has worked as music director for over 100 musicals.
